2025-0312 Track and Field Girls | Southern League at Waterford
The first, and likely only meet from this season that many schools will have pictures from in their yearbooks, took place on Wednesday. With it being a full league meet, that meant that all six schools from the Southern League would converge on Waterford to compete. It also meant that they were locked in to making it happen, rain or shine. As a former trackster myself, there was no way I was letting this go undocumented. So I dressed for the rain, wrapped my camera in a garbage bag and headed out for a long day of photography. Because of the conditions, and the need to catch as much as possible, I wasn’t able to get as creative as I would have liked, but in this case, something really is better than nothing. Photos have already gone out to advisors at Waterford, Mariposa, Gustine, and Delhi. Still trying to get a hold of LeGrand and Denair. Here are a few highlights from the girls.
